Candeo Hotels Omiya

It looks farther from the station but it is a 5-minute walk. It is very convenient as it has three convenience stores in each corner next to the building. The staff could improve. Rooms were larger than general business hotels in Japan and had a smarter decoration. The public bath in the last floor was also good, limited views of the city but having it outdoor is a plus.

This is our last stop of 18days trip. Stay here 3 nights and feel very disappointed. Interior is ok but staff are really need to be improved. Breakfast is the worst part of this hotel. Some dishes are left over from previous day and you can tell by the taste. They charge ¥2970 for breakfast but food quality is even worse than chain hotel like Route-inn or APA. Would not back this hotel again.

Honestly no complaints about this hotel. They were available for booking the night before during a June trip where we had a sudden change of plans. The room was big enough for our family of 3 and the locations was within a 15 minute walk of the main train station where we would arrive and depart from. 15 minutes wasn't the closest we had been during our journey, but for the room and price, there were no complaints here. If you find yourself in Omiya, do not hesitate to book at this hotel.

The hotel is located near the train station and is withing walking distance. Surrounding the hotel there are numerous convinience shops and restaurant. The hotel is nestle at the top of a tower and has superb views at the lobby. The rooms are clean and facilities are new. Mattress and pillow are comfy for a good night sleep. The onsen is located at the top floor together with the laundry. While waiting for your laundry you can pop over to the onsen for a dip. The open air section of the pool are a delight. Cool air circulates through the onsen. Facilities are good and looks new.

Convenient location. Within walking distance from Omiya Station. Served by two convenience stores at two streets across the road. Room wasn't big but enough for 2 with a luggage. Quiet even right next to the elevator. The king bed and pillows were comfortable for a good night's sleep. Remember to stick the "MAKE UP THE ROOM" magnet to the door before 11am. Staff will clean the room and change the towels. Otherwise, no service. The reception/lobby was on the 13th floor. Amenities like cotton tips/pads, razor, comb and tea were self collect there. Spa, open bath and sauna were at 14/f. Remember to bring towel and room card for access. Breakfast was on 13/f. From 6.30am to 9.30am. Three 1-hour sessions interval. Do prepare for a queue. A lot of food choices with good quality. Delicious. The only drawback was the room cards. We stayed 2 nights but they were mal function for 3 times.

Roughly 5 min walk from Omiya Station. The entrance is on 14th floor and the public bath ( spa ) is on the 13th. We stayed on the 6th floor but there was not much of a view but a school in front of us lol Over all, it was clean and had a nice stay but one thing, there were trash on the floor when we got in and was a bit of a disappointment. Spa is open passed midnight and can kiiinda see the view from the window. It was clean and nice:) しかし、夜中に入ったら、携帯を利用しながら入浴してる方がいました。それは流石にやめてほしいです。 深夜でも私たちの後に何名か入っていたので、ちょっとびっくりしました。 Breakfast was VERY nice. My favorite were Home made Tofu, customized Miso soup, and detox water. They are the must try!! Can bring coffee back to your room is a huge plus too:) Staff were very kind and helpful. Especially the guy at the restaurant who served breakfast. He is very friendly, kind and had great hospitality. Basically it was barrier free building but bath room had a bit of gap between the entrance and the changing room. Might need help if you use wheel chair. Parking is on the first floor, 1,400 JPY/24h. Family friendly but nothing is really around if you wanted to take kids. Need to plan things beforehand. It was my first stay in Saitama but had a great time there:) if you are staying in Omiya, I recommend this place.
